Does anyone have problems with the trx250r.net site? I sure did on my lap top. I got a virus from there and I had to send my laptop off to be repaired.

People create viruses because they hate big corporations, like Microsoft. (and others write them just because they can)

You can eliminate a huge number of viruses just using something OTHER than Microsoft, like Firefox instead of Internet Explorer, or using something other than Microsoft Outlook for your mail.

Macs don't get viruses at all, because in the past, Macs were much better, much faster computers, so that's what all the techno-geeks used. They don't get viruses because those people don't attack their own.

Macs do get viruses. My wife is a graphic designer and she has had several viruses on all of her macs.

As a Network Administrator, the best thing you can do is just get a good A/V on there and be smart about what you click on. I recommend AVG-Free edition for good free virus protection. Also having Malware Bytes on your PC and running it every so often helps.

Mac's get viruses, the only difference is there are only a few out that target Mac's so you don't hear about them. If I was writing a virus to get info, I'd choose to make my virus run on the OS that companies run their data from. Let's face it, people may believe Mac's are the be all end all, but in the end major companies are still running their business from Windows Server products.
