Got a Stg2 hotcam on the way for the ex!
Should go nicely with the 11:1. I'm hoping it gets here by the weekend. I'll let u guys know how it turns out.

Well I got mine in yesterday. Ran it in a field behind the neighborhood for about 5min. Pretty sure I pissed my neighbors off. But It seem to have great mid range power. I'm gonna get it in the woods tomorrow. Man u guys weren't kidding about the hotcams being loud.

I tested the new cam out yesterday and all I got to say is, anyone thats worried about losing your bottom end power by installing a stg2 cam, don't be. I didn't really feel like I lost any at all. I can pull out of the low rpms in 2nd gear better than before. Plus it pulls really hard thur 3rd to 5th. I raced my buddy's R and its right there with him. I actually beat him a couple of times. We both were fighting traction tho. The corn field at my place wasn't letting either of us hookup very good. But overall I very please of the usable power the cam gave me. When I got to the mid rpms in any gear it just pulled a whole lot harder. I didn't change jetting either. I might go up a couple and see how it works out,but really it seem to be fine. Installing this cam has got me out of the wanting to switch to a 450r fever for now.

I know that I love mine. Made a world of difference. Coming thru the woods on a fast paced trail and go around a tree and nail the throttle in 2nd or 3rd gear and it just takes off with no hesitating.

i know. thats what i like about the 450r's. you can get back on the gas hard exiting and tight corner. my ex would be slow to get back up in higher rpms in those tight corners. but the cam definitely changed that.

Il be puting mine in in about 3 weeks :( with a 11:1 piston sounds like its gona be a ton better :)

That's what's in mine (11:1). You should do the 04/05 r carb swap too.

I plan on if i can find one for a good price. Do you think i Will see a good gain with the stage 2 and the 11:1 piston even though im not boring it thanks. Just like to here diffrent peoples opinions.

I highly recommend this. Zeb and I ride a lot. He is always right there with me because he's a good rider, but this cam has made a huge difference. I was really impressed with the performance after trail riding and drag racing yesterday.
