If anyone here needs king pins for their prp,TRC, roll design, or Gibson arms I can make them much cheaper than you can buy them. These are same Rockwell hardness and I have them zinc plated for rust protection.

I actually need a complete setup for a Roll Design front end. Do you have the bearing specs, as well?

Thanks,
Dan

do those get pressed into the spindles? or are for the upper and lower bolts holding the spindles on?

Can I get a price on a set of 4 for a 400ex/450r spindle that will work with a walsh arm or com12 spherical bearing?

I was using nylock nuts for these, these are the cap and bolt type(not press in).. I was using spacers a washer and bolt to hold them in on mine but I am going to draw a cap to machine if people want them.

If you want some for Walsh arms you Will have to send me one or an upper and lower if they are different to measure so I can write a program unless they are the same as Gibson.

Dan, I am pretty sure the prp and roll designs use the same pins but if you have two that you can send me to make sure that would be great I Will pay the shipping both ways..

These all use the com12 Or the same diameter heim style upper bearings so that shaft on the pin Will be the same..

I am thinking they will be about $25 each because the cadd plating and my work won't let me run the cnc I can only program it. I am trying to see if I can get the guy to make a bunch of each kind so I can get them all plated at once which Will drive the cost down substantially.. but even at this price it should save you about $60-$100 depending on the manufacturer..
I am also looking into a stainless option which would also be a little cheaper, however stainless is usually softer than mild steel so I need to do some research..

Stainless is about a grade 5
I have some walsh arms on the way...if you want them for measuring purpose let me no.

Will,

I'm still a ways out on the start of my new build. I'll try to get the front end taken apart within the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for taking this on!
Dan

What is everyone using as a cap for the top?

Above the kingpin and bearing...oh, glad to hear you are getting the measurements for Walsh. The bearing number sound correct, so I assume the kingpin is standard.

Personally I just used a few washers that fit perfectly instead of a cap, but machining a cap would be pretty simple.

Not sure why I said that.. I was more concerned about stainless being more brittle and snapping instead of bending like mild steel. Thanks for catching that though..
