I live up in Scranton and its really not worth it. Use to ride up there for free but now its almost a fortune. 3 people was somewhere around 100 bucks and its nothing but rocks. Yes it was fun at times but it was tough on us and on the quads.

Tower citys much better but you gotta belong last I checked and its not cheap.

You would be much better to ride out in treverton or the reading anthracite coal company.

This is rausch creek/tower city trail riders. membership is not cheap but its quite a fun place to ride: http://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trails/info/pennsylvania_11564/ride_5e1f.htm

Treverton is a free area to ride but you gotta know someone who knows where to park. Its a giant maze of coal hills and trails all over the place. Quite fun, some rocks but not to bad.

As for reading anthracite, its a privately owned coal mine that allows riding. You need a 100 dollar permit but its pretty much ENDLESS. http://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trails/info/pennsylvania_14294/ride_61de.htm

Yea dude they had a Yamaha demo there where the big rig comes in with all the sport quads and utilities and sidexside's and they wouldnt even take the yfzr's or x's out of the trailer. I asked the guy wtf he goes sometimes we have to think about if its worth the quad getting ruined im like thats not cool I came to demo a sport quad...Wound up riding grizzly's :(

Lost trails is about 10 minutes away from my house. Before it was the Lost Trails I use to ride that area with my Jeep. Some of it was pretty rocky. I was thinking of going there to see what it was like but I guess I will stick to the local free stuff. Thanks for the info.
