2004 eton viper jr. no spark

I have a 40cc viper jr. that had spark when I put it away for storage in working condition. I took it out and it has no spark. I am wondering if anyone on here know how to test the coil/stater or cdi. I tried to bypass all the ignition kill switches. I think I did it right. Any info would be great. This doesn't have electric start.

It's pull start right? I will have to look and see if I have any info on that one.

yea its a pull start. the coil looks like one you find on a chainsaw. the stator and coil all in one.

You are correct on the chain saw. Any good lawn mower repair shop should be able to help with checking it I am still looking to see what I can find.

should I be able to get some sort of resistance reading from the coil? When I try to test the spark plug cap to anyone of the 2 connectors i get nothing.
