Hi everyone, I have a 2003 300ex. It has a DMC Alien exhaust system, k&n air filter, and dynojet jet kit with renthal bars. Nothing special. I am having a problem with my bike. When i start it, let it warm up, and everything, I can press my throttle all the way in, and the bike will only go to about 1/4 throttle. I have had a problem before that was similar, but it would cut out instead of just staying constant at 1/4 throttle.(My main jet had fallen off....wierd). But anyway, i was wondering if amnyone knew what was wrong. I put in a new plug and the air filter is clean.

Also I was wondering, after i got it fixed, how much could i possibly sell it for, its a 2003 thats one year old with maxxis razr tires and the above upgarades.

Thanks for any help

Ryan

I sounds like you may have too rich of a jet. Try jetting down a size or two.

As far as what you quad is worth I don't know what to tell you.

take the boot off the back of your carb, work the throttle, see if the slide is moving up and down,

Also make sure your throttle adjuster didnt come loose. If it isnt that, do what the other two guys suggested and take a look at the carb.
