Just found an ad on CL for a dealer with new old stock 07 400exs. Kinda thinkin about buying another and building the 04 for speed (TT bike). Have to call, but I'm hoping for all black. Advertised @ $4400

I bought mine in Nov. 09 for $3999+tax&prep of course. My brother bought the 08 700xx for $5000 the same day, but some jack*** stole it...

99-04 is worth approx 2500 bucks in EXCELLENT shape, 05-07 is worth 3500 at best.. I wouldnt pay a dime mroe than 3500 to a dealer-not when its a leftover and the 08 has been out for some time.

Used 05-07 are going for $2600 to $3000 around here. I thought $4400 wasn't that bad of a price for a brand new bike. Guess I'll have to reconsider
