I was looking at my throttle assembly today and I was checking everything and I saw there was a hole in the part where it is close to the grip. Is that hole supposed to be there?

Probably to let water out if some gets in there.

Or to spray wd40 in there if your throttle gets stiff.

If the hole wasn't there how would water get in? I think it is for spraying wd40 in it
