My ball joints are broken and I know you are supposed to replace the whole a arm. I was wondering instead of replacing the a arm could you cut the broken one off and put on a ball joint like this one

Ball Joints like that one are threaded into the a arm. Anything is possiable with fabrication, but have never seen it done on stock a arms.

GT Thunder and Jet Suspension do the mod for XC racers so they can have camber adjustment... I don't think that particular hiem joint would be best because of the need to thread into the arm. Not saying it couldn't be done but with that hiem but I think the ball joints with the inner and outer nuts would be easier.

This is for a stock 450r arm but check out this link.

It's easy enough, as long as you drill the hole straight for the balljoint.

Do you think these would work?

Yes they prob would. However I am not sure as to the quality to them.. I have a set of stock top a arms I would sell for less then what they want for them joints.. All you would need is to put your boots on it, paint them.. Just a thought..

Those are the joints he used in the other thread.. I actualy bought a set from the same seller this week. They sell them for $29 each or $49 for 2... They have a 16mm stem, so you can measure your arm to see if they will work.
