250r nerfs on a 300ex

i can get these for cheap and i was wondering if they would fit ok...they look like they would bolt to the peg fine and go through the frame couldn't i just get some u bolts and put them over the nerfs and bolt them to my frame like that? i think it would work...let me know what you guys think :macho

No they wont work.Trust me I wish they would.I have a set of DG alloy series for an R in basement that I wish I could put on my ex.

Well it is closer than I remember.Maybe with some creative thinking you could.If you can get the cheap enough I would try it.

Took some measurements though.From peg to peg my R is 13.5 inches where as my 300ex is somewhere around 11.5.Couldn't get a very accurate measurment because of the motor and stuff being in the way.

those look way bigger...how do those connect in the peg area? arn't with those nerfs you have to take the heel guards off?

I had to look for those nerfs.Pretty bad when you got some much 4-wheeler stuff you got to look for it.I also noticed it looked like my front tire would hit the nerf in that first pic.

If you look you can see the where they mount to the frame.You put the peg over the nerf and bolt them on togother.I am sure they are the same size.

And the R's didn't have heelgaurds.So you really didn't have to take them off.I guess with 300's you would though.

yeah i noticed that too...those nerfs look really big compared to the acs....would you happen to have any aftermarket 300 parts or stock 250r a-arms?....but yeah i think i could make them work
i have a pair of heel guards 2 put on the nerfs from a 400 2....i'm pretty sure they will work i'm almost 100 percent positive.

I do have a set of stock 86 R A-arms.But the rubber where the ball joints are bad.The ball joints are still good.But I used a pickle fork to seperate the spindle from the A-Arm and ruined 3 of them.Wish I wouldn't have now.

And no I don't have any aftermarket 300 parts.I wish I did.Cause I would put them on there.I got alot of stock parts though.

you can put new ones on the a-arms right? ....tell me if you want to sell them wait...arn't those the nerfs that bolt under your peg? my friend had those kind on his warrior one of the bolts broke and he had it duct taped on

I would like to keep them.I am not sure if you can or not.If you ever need any stock 300 parts give me a holler.I might have it.Or I can find it.

Heck I even have a spare 400.(just don't tell my buddy that)
