-hi~perf cams w/comp release

-gentlemen; i am in the market for a stage 1~2~poss. 3 cam

-the catch is; i would like to like to retain the comp. release function

-i suppose if all else fails i could run a manual comp.release


-this is important to me on acct i have a 120 c.i. S&S W/11.8 TO 1 CR.

-WITHOUT THE COMP RELEASES [whoops], on my chopper, the motor will not start , not even close [thats w/a $500.oo starter and the best batt. on the market [a west coast chopper, 'C.F.L.' w/a baker 6 speed]

-my cyl is fitted to a 10.8 to 1, JE piston fresh...i believe a stage 2 cam would work nicely

-any ideas would really be appreciated

-ps; the $$$ is ofcourse important but i will be happy to overlook this for a top notch product...a product that has a good + history

Curtis sparks keeps the decompression thing. Have one for sale 100 shipped. Maybe 30 hours on it and I have curtis sparks Cdi that goes well with it. Can text pics if you would like

You will have NO issue turning over the engine with a stock battery and any hotcam or webcam out there on a 400ex.

Although you may have 10.8:1 comp ratio, your dynamic ratio is much lower due to deck height as well as the cam itself. If I can start my 11:1 426 that makes 150 psi easy you should be fine.

Your chopper is 5x the size of the trx motor, trx motor is barely 25 cubes..
