98 honds cr 250r

Ok so this might not be the best section but I'm gonna try so I have a guy interested in trading me a cr250r with a big bore making it a 285 he says it has 250 pounds of compression and it looks like a really clean bike by the pictures but my question is is that he says it needs atleast 105 octane mixed half with 92 would this be true I'm not real familiar with big bore 2 strokes? Thanks guys and gals.

I would say it needs straight race gas, not mixed. My 250r's are around 230-250 psi and I only use straight race gas.

at 250psi, I'd run straight 110 or 112

So do 2 strokes just use any old high octane like a 4 stroke

Yes I run straight 110 leaded race gas and Champion WP2 in my RMX250. The lead also helps lube the needle bearings and the crank.
