Im happy with the stage 2, friend of mine has a stage 1 and it seems pretty even.

Stage 1 is supposed to be a torque monster and a stage 2 is more all around. For what its worth I can easily keep up with the 450s in the woods.

Ok i probaly will go with stage 1 beacause i race xc and the more torque the better in my opinion.

I run a stage 2 on my race quad. It works good with my build. A stage 1 in my Opinion will have unusable torque. You don't need the torque in the woods you will need the top end in the open! You can always catch the 450s in the woods but you need the top end so they don't lose you in the open!

I also run a stage 2 because i heard better things about them. I have a decent build on my 400ex and it works good with everything i got done to it.

+1 for the Stage 2

You'll notice that your engine will pull longer on top, without sacrificing bottom. The piston will give you some added TQ with the bump in compression.

One more for the Stage 2. I got one on my recent 407 build and I still have plenty of power down low and it still screams up top. Imho I think the Stage 1 is just for people that want a little more out of their stock motor.
