Where do I look for the year of make on a YFZ ? I am trying to buy a couple that are supposed to be 2005s but i think they might be newer, where do I look on the bike to figure out what year they are?
Thanks Jim

If they have the stock swingarm that's usually the first place to look.

This is an 04/05 swinger:

This is an 06+ swinger:

They have different chain adjustments.
You could also check the VIN. Which is on the lower frame rail, near the foot peg.

There is a ton of ways to tell, but pretty much all the stuff is interchangeable so it could be an 05 with never components on it.

10th digit in vin will tell you the year a 5 is 2005 and so on.

X2. Swingarm and other parts will just tell you what "generation" it is.
