Ok guys I'm back for more help, as some may know from a previous thread my clutch is on its last leg. so what I need to know is:

What brand of clutch should I get I've gotten it narrowed down to the oem kit, ebc dirt racer kit, or the famous tusk kit.

Is there any tricks to putting in a new clutch anything I need to be aware of or watch out for. Any input would greatly be appreciated...

There isnt really an tricks to it, its pretty simple.
Just start with a friction plate, and END with a friction plate, and do the friction/steel/friction/steel pattern.

go ahead and replace the cable too while your at it. Its cheap and it usually helps a TON with your pull on your clutch.

As for what brand.. They are all decent, i would probably go stock out of all those brands, but there is nothing bad about tusk or ebc

Nothing really that hard about it.

dxcody is 100% correct.

I will add that you have to soak the new fiber plates in oil before installing them. A few hours soaking should be fine.

It is simple just pay attention to the way they were put in

i would soak them overnight, in the same oil you plan on using in your motor.

I don;t think it is nessasary to soak them, I just dipped them before installing

I would probably do like ish said and soak them just for insurance.

I run OEM as they seem have lasted me the longest. EBC I thought was crap.

I have heard nothing but good things from the Tusk brand.

So OEM or Tusk gets my vote.

stay away from the dirt digger....problem with neutral(250R same sit) go with the OEM fibers and steels and a hinson basket...never have any complaints.
