Okay, so the Honda dealer says they can get a 35, 38, and 45 pilot jets, which I belive is stock 300ex, stock 400ex, and stock 450r, but correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways I need a 42 and a 40 for the summer. I found some websites that are in Canada that have 42 and 40 jets made for Yamahas, will they fit??
Any help would be appreciated:D

If they are for keihin carbs they should be pretty close or maybe the same.

www.jetsrus.com doesnt sell to canada? Could try ebay, I just found a bunch http://www.ebay.com/itm/KEIHIN-CARB-PILOT-JET-35-38-40-42-45-48-50-52-55-58-60-/130484446234?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item1e617aa41a

I'll try some of those. The Yamaha dealer can get them for me, if they fit, and I'm pretty sure they're getting Kahlin. On this part getting it from the US isn't the cost it's just that it can sometimes take a long time to get here. But I'll give it a try maybe.

If the dealer can order keihin carb parts then why not imho? Worst case its the wrong thing. Probably get there MUCH sooner too.

Any help would be appreciated:D there are different series pilot jets with the same 5.5mm diameter.

the series 26 is 23.5mm long ,and the series 22 is 28mm long,

the 28mm goes deeper into the float bowl making the pilot longer into throttle position

you can use both types, however... it can cause a rich or lean situation in the beginning of the main circuit depending on which one is needed

^Thanks for the help, I'm kinna stumped on what to do, they wont tell me the series of them, simply because they don't even know what a jet is, they just have to read out of a book. But I'll have to keep researching the sites. I'm leaning more towards eBay now anyways.
