Anyone make their own lifter? If so can you post some pictures and materials used?

Thanks

Look at Dirt Works design, if you can cut a piece of angle, you can build your own.

I ran a piece of steel tube under the back of the airbox, under the airbox lid clip mounts and in between where the bottom and top rails of the subframe come together. Run a couple of zip ties through where the air box lid clips go and around the tube, and your in business. Its good for about an inch of lift.

not yet, and I know I didn't explain it very well either, haha... basically, cut a 1" diameter tube to the width of your subframe. Put it on top of the bottom subframe rails, slide it up until it rests in the crotch of where the bottom and top subframe rails meet. This should line up perfectly with the back of the airbox. Take your airbox and drop it in so the tabs on the back of airbox rest on the tubing. Ziptie it tight and connect everything back up. Ready to rock... does that explain it better or do I need to go snap a picture?

if your rear is setup properly you really shouldnt need one. I run a superlink with a lowered subframe and never hit mine at all

It all depends what swingarm you are using. If you're using a stock swingarm, you'll need to lift the box. Aftermarket swingarms move the linkage mount so there may be more clearance.
