What is it worth?

Hi i found a 2004 Honda 450r with a blown up motor (the crank bearings went out) and i was just wondering what it be worth? ill be doing all the motor work myself so that isnt an added cost. It has Herrman +2 aarms, pro armor sport series nerf bars, aftermarket grab bar, hot cam stage 2 (would be getting switched to a Web Cam) and it has a powder coated frame. What would be a good price on it? Thanks

if its in good shape other than the motor id say 2000 would be reasonable.

You can find decent , running 04 and 05 450Rs around by me for around $2200 to $2500 . I seen one awhile back on craigslist that a guy had with a wrecked engine with similar goodies for around $1000

^^^^ agreed. Ive bought running 450R's around here that were beat for 12-1500. for a quad in decent shape but not running i would give no more than 1000. Depending on what the situation was when the cranks went you could end up with a bunch of money in a bottom end. Cases are high dollar. Plus you gotta realize, this quads is 8 years old now basically

dang everybody on clist round here prices mint satock ones at 3000 beat ones at 2300 lol mine was beat to death and i basicly paid 2300 for it thats what i had on my mint 400 and i traded strait up.

Just picked one up with the rod thru the front of the motor for $400 mostly stock tho just pipe and nerfbars. I also bought a '06 running with a few goodies for $1600 a couple of months ago just needed rear brake work. I wouldn't go more than $1000.

my buddy pucks up sick blown 450rs for like 3-$600 haha if he had one now id try and hook you up but its been slow.
