How hard is it and how long would it take to install a 2 inch body lift kit ona 97' s-10 p.u. I am competant enough to do it, and i have several friends who can help as well. I'm just wondering if its a long project, of if theirs otehr stuff the instructions don't tell you. Thanks

like jeff said all the body kit does is allows for bigger tires but doesnt give any more ground clearance, and the frame kit adds clearance by lifting the whole frame

Yeah the body lift isnt going to give you more ground clearence. You will be able to put bigger tires but your gonna have a much more of a crappy ride. I would def go with tthe suspension lift. Good luck

A body lift doesn't effect your ride any! body lifts are much cheaper too. when i bought one for my old GMC half ton, it was like $70 for the kit. and a supsension lift is $500+. it's an easy and inexpensive way to make enough room for tires.
