Just wondering what chest protectors everyone uses with their leatt brace.

I was gonna ask for a Thor Sentinel for Christmas but I read you have to cut the chest protector to fit with a leatt and I'm not really liking that idea.

I have used a six six one, but now I use a fox. I don't know exactly what fox, but it flexes in the back. I just tuck the brace under everything.

Thanks for the input. I've narrowed it down to the Leatt Adventure Lite and the Fox Proframe Deflector. Anybody have experience with these?

I have a friend that uses the leatt and really likes it. I just got the fox proframe and it fits great with a neck brace. I think you'll be happy with either of those two.

It does fit with the Sentinel. Actually that's the most common chest protector I see with the Leatt. There is no cutting necessary either. The shoulder pieces fit perfectly in between the cuts of the Leatt too. I destroyed my Sentinel in one crash though, so I'm not too happy about their strength. I guess that is bound to happen with any chest protector though. If you want it, don't let the Leatt hold you back from it because it will work without modification.

it's just a tiny bit you have to cut but it is worth it

I used a sentinel for a while with my leatt as well. No issues at all. Tried some of the free floating protectors and didn't care for them at all and ended up not wearing a chest protector anymore. You can kinda see how it fits but that's about the best pics I have of it. For the record though if you happen to go with an astars brace in the future the sentinel will not fit without modification.

Will not fit without modification? What did you guys have to do? Because I didn't do anything to mine and it works.

The Fly Chect Protectors work great and I just bought my son a leatt and they are very nice

The Astars brace will not fit with the sentinel. The "key" part on the neck brace interferes with the upper shoulder piece of the sentinel so obviously you'd have to cut the back member somehow, but given that the sentinel isn't that strong to begin with, it would most likely fail in the event of a crash.

used a leatt with the fox proframe all season this year and they work great together, no modification neccessary.
