When do you adjust your vavles for the first time on a 400?:confused:

After about 6 full tanks of gas are run thru it...

My factory honda manual says first 100miles or 20 hours which ever comes first....

Yeah thats when you are supposed to do it. But i have yet to do that on my quad. I guess i should sometime. LOL It runs fine and has a full warrenty. Im not worried.

I took mine apart this past weekend for its first valve adjustment. I have about 25-30 hours on mine, so I figured it was time to adjust them just to be safe. Turns out they were all fine! Talk about a waste of time, but then again, I know now that I'm not tearing my machine up.

Just check them when Rico said to or when you get to like 25 hours or so...

I would think so... Check your owner's manual, it should say when to adjust/check them for the first time.
