gusset

i was wondering for anybody that has doen gussets to a 250x frame where do you want to reinforce it at? thanks alot

I'm not exactly sure on the 250ex but I oncne did it to a 250 quadracer that I was redoing I put gussets on the shock mount , in the back subframe to the main supprts between the two front main beams in a criss cross pattern to help support the front end. But be carefull all that I found was that it puts stress on other parts of the frame that arent intended to have the stress. These frames are built by highly paid engineers that have spent countless hours designing and testing them. My advise is to leave the frame alone and just weld it up when it cracks. Where it cracks maybe try to reinforce it a little better in those areas.
