Honda Power Up Kit

i bought a 04 trx450r and the guy said it had a honda power up kit on it...anybody know what all that has in it?

HRC kit probably:
jetting, needle, cam, green wire mod (raises the rev limit a bit)...might be more but I dont recall anything else.

how do i at least check to see if it has that on it for sure?

The 04/05 450Rs did not have the green wire mod. The airbox lid should have a hole cut in the rear, and a plastic deflecter that hangs into the hole and somewhat covers the air filter. The kit also uses uses a larger diameter headpipe and an exhaust tip in the stock silencer.

On my 07 the air box lid is completely removed. I had the HRC kit done at the dealership when the bike was bought new.

The HRC kit is a little different between generations in that way. 04/05 had the lid cut and the splash guard (whatever it is) installed. The 06+ just removed the lid (makes more sense to me). Although the 04/05 could still have the lid removed later, this is just an obvious sign the HRC kit was installed.
