ATV weight transfer sled info

I’m looking for information on a weight transfer sled for ATV,s and SXS. If any one has any information on a sled for sale or plans on how to build one let me know.

It could also be a sled they use for Garden Tractor pulls. Also I am curious as to how many ATV’ers would be interested in participating in a Pull if a place to hold an event was available in central Florida.

you could make one

use the front axle as the driver gear for a crank winch to pull weights forward on a sled. you could use a crank similar to a boat winch as reference.

I would prefer to get one already made but I would consider making one if I had some info such as dimensions. overall length and width. how big should the pad that slides across the ground be. And many others questions I need to know the answer to.

I’m thinking it should be about the same size as what they would use for a garden tractor pull. Any one know of any garden tractor pull clubs or forums that I could get the answers I need?

Or maybe you know of one I could go look at .

i am not sure, I just found the links above with a couple of google searches on weight transfer sleds. you could check out some tractor pull forums and see if they have any prints or anything.
