I seen this ad and I thought it was kinda funny...anybody seen a kfx400 that could outrun a yfz450??? :huh

outrun a YFZ 450 and "keep up" with a Raptor 660.. ahaha..

Is a good deal for $1200 if its in good condition.

Lol it could easy be done, just might take 10 minutes to get up to that speed that's all haha.

a stock one isent thats for sure. my ex had 11:1 stagte 2 cam slip on open air box filter and rejet. stock 450s with pipes were no prob it was the mild ones with pipes cams ect

I believe the 2004s had a larger flux capacitor then a yfz so it's possible...

400's keeping up with a 450 is not happening with equally skilled riders. When we bought my ladies 426EX the guy was saying he beats all kinds of 450's... Well when we got it out it wasn't even close. We even swapped bikes and no way. I have yet to see a video of a 400 walking a 450, even a 440. Anyone who says they have are either lying or racing terrible riders.

your everyday run of the mill 400 with some shadetree mechanic build aint gonna run with an opened up 450....BUT a 400 can put it on a 450 with close to equal riders. Doug gust was proof in 2004 lol

well i do ride at a reneck track lol :devil: no way my 400 coulda beat a mild-built 450 but the stock ones i could handel. but back to the ad 1200 would be a good deal if the quad is in good shape!

I know of a few that'll beat a stock 450 easily. Then again, being over 50 hp, its not a true "400" ;)
