apex 90 vin

can anyone tell me if the vin indicates the engine size ?? i cannot read the number on my cylinder ? trying to figure out if its a 70 or 90

Not sure but I would guess that it does not. What size of carb do you have that could be an indication of size. Next thing you could do is pu the head and messure the cylinder.

52mm = 90

the carb is not the correct one...i guess ill have to check the cylinder...
where is the number supposed to be on the outside of the cylinder?thanks,mike

No numbers

Pull the head and check the bore of the cylinder
If it is 52mm and stroke is 42 mm then it is a 90

Other than a little coolant it's a quick check.
