Got my brothers and buddys together for our annual ride after deer season last Saturday. It was cold, it and rained and sleeted at times. We still had a great time riding. Hefe rode his YFZ 450 with the Raptor 700 motor in it. It is awesome.

The video has a spoof of a Youtube commercial at the front.

Sweet. Thats quite a project converting that motor and all. I'm looking forward to a new YFZ soon. How did your Raptors compare to the 700 after your mods?

Both my Raptors ran great. I let my buddy ride the 720, he is a good rider but only gets out once a year. He loved the new power! I was in video mode filming the guys but felt like I could catch any of them if I had too. We had one very fast ride back with the YFZ's leading and it was a blast. Unfortunately, I turned my Go Pro off, thinking I was turning it on. I missed the entire section, the best stuff.

Hefe's YFZ 700 is fast, there is no doubt about it. Tim Barker put a "stage 2" 700 head on it and it dyno'ed rear wheel 67hp. I think that was the only mod other than the pipe and controller. Jeff has a big write up on YFZ Central about the conversion. He plans to ride the ice this year a few times so that will be fun.

I was busy today in the garage.
