silly plastics question

I know everyone is always wanting to put the new plastics on older bikes, but can you put the old plastics on a new bike. I much prefer the 99-04 plastics and want them on my 08.

Probably, all the frames are the same. Might have to make a bracket or two but I doubt it. Your biggest conver will be finding a headlight, them suckers are not cheap, infact used plastics are often cheaper in a set than the light lol.
