No it's same as ZPS by PEP. PEP ZPS is just a gap between the shock spring and preload wring when fully extended. The zps spring on it just helps stop the spring from flopping around I know I ran pep.

The reason the little spring is there is to keep pressure on the lower spring retainer so it stays together. The way you have it in the last picture with your spring flopping around, there's a chance your lower spring retainer could come apart.

haha i seriously hope this is a joke. There is no way you can run it that way, everytime your shock extends there would be a gap between the ring and the spring then when it compresses you would have to resistance until it slams against the spring. Did you even check your ride height stock? you should be able to get it close. That setup is not safe at all

yea i understand that the retainer could pop out when extended or just snap when the spring slams against it. This seriously has to be a joke

I actually wasnt surprised at all.... This is something SLOW would do... ha ha Makes no sense... The retainer will pop out, the threads will get trashed from the spring rubbing like that... NOBODY EVER DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!! :huh
