Interchangeable Parts?

So I was talking to a co-worker toady and he mentioned he had a +2 swing arm off a 300ex that I could have. Will that bolt right up to my 2004 400ex with out being to big of pain? What should I expect if it does bolt up? Thanks in a advance for any help.

no, it won't. swingarm, carrier, axle, brake hub and caliper plate won't swap over. Also swingarm is like a 88/89 250r, solid all the way across, 400ex has a gap that the motor fits into.
