Plan on getting the toyota/scion version(same exact car) or a fiat 500 abarth when they come to the US next year.

It'd be so much more appealing if they offered a strip down base model for under 25k though.

Definitely thinks this car has potential but every time I look under the hood of a flat motor car I get severe headaches haha.

Look under the hood of a new diesel truck and you'd probably have a stroke.

Should be interesting to see how they run with some aftermarket goodies.

looks pretty cool for a subi! should run nicely with some aftermarket on it, cant wait to see what it puts out.

My Neighbor is all into Subaru's he has a 2011 sti and he was saying they might develop a a 6 cylinder turbo version with some actual hp :)

you guys realize this car wasn't designed for straight line speed or anything. It was designed as an enthusiast car. Its the successor to the AE-86 corolla and is targeting the miata. Also it only weighs around 2700lbs so it should be a very fun car to toss around some curves.

haha, the car would probably be a blast to drive.. the looks just don't do it for me though. something more like 250whp would be much more suiting as well.

They should have gave it more torque/hps looks too good with just 200hp ! subaru seems to have dropped the ball on this car, In the motor dept.

200hp is more than enough for a car that weighs less than 3000lbs. I mean it is only the size of a Miata! It's hp/lb is right around a v6 mustang or camaro.

Any one else think the front is to bland? It needs a hood scoop or something along those lines.

You can always mod it some, 300hp is an easily achievable number from subarus. I guess some people probably wont want to do that though.

is this going to replace the sti? or is this like an all new model?
anyway it looks like a fun car but still like the STI a lot more.

its an all new model created out of a joint venture between subaru/Toyota. It's trying to compete with the miata.

......No because it looks like an RX8. I think it has more of a 350z look to it.

Now that would be sick!! As far as this new subi, idk its ok i guess, looks like a mazda to me. I just tired of all these new car, they look like a rich persons car there all fancy, what happened to all the bad *** looking cars that were actually bad ***, like supra's and skyline's, and old school subi's, and rx-7 etc. Those were cars and they were fast and looked it and didnt look like the next car, this subi just looks like every other car out there. IDK just my opinion but i think alot of car guys could agree.
