AMA/ATVA membership is going up to $49.00 come March 1st, so if your planing on running any sanctioned event in 2012, best to get your membership or renew it before March 1st.
Got the news on that today.

Information came from Congress, March 1st is cut off date for $39.00 renew.

Maybe was said March 1st, so people would wait that long & then have to pay the $10.00 extra dollars anyways.

I dont doubt that, but seems like a delayed reaction, cause hes been out office for a while now.

Pappy,
Since your here, has their been any rule changes on the mx or gncc side of racing.
Like letting the 2 strokes in Pro Am or upping the CC limit of the 2 stroke.

I had heard it was being talked about at AMA, but we dont run the mx so got no idea if any changes.

Any excuse to get more money. It wouldnt be so bad if the AMA would give more thought to the quad nation from local to pro. Ive raced flattrack for years and the AMA officials and such treat quads like 2nd class citizens. Track groomers and no voice. I live in OH and its the same in IN also. Our money goes to the Pro bikes and we get a 5 dollar trophy. I know the rules but man give me a break. The quads bring family and lots of friends to the races so why does it have to be this way? Ive said things it doesnt matter just pay and shut your mouth right?

Interesting, see, now that is the stuff I dont get to hear about.

Ya'll do know that the Extreme Dirt Track part (TT quad) of AMA/ATVA racing has been leased from AMA.
They dont fully own that series now, the Coburns do.
