My friend has a honda 400ex that has been through hell and back. He doesnt have enough money to buy fullbore plastic, but instead has decided to get some plastic renew and get the scratches out. Is there any special paint that can also be purchased and aid in restoring his 400ex plastic to almost new condition?

I don't blame him for not wanting to spend $500 on Fullbore, but is he aware that you can buy new OEM plastic for like $160 or so from a local dealer?

He can...but eventually it will scratch/chip/etc...I wouldn't paint it.

Maybe $160 for each piece of plastic....not for a full set of plastic....at least that is what I have been quoted. I was told it would be MUCH cheaper to go with aftermarket plastic. If you know where I can get a new full set of OEM for that price please tell me where!!
