starter button wires

I took off that bulky piece that has the starter button on it. I cut the two wires going to the starter button as close to the button as I could so I would have wire to work with. But nothing works now, the neutral light want even come on when I turn the key on. HELP!:confused:

check your fuse, why are you un-hooking the starter switch

to get rid of that bulky piece that has light swith, dimmer, starter button etc. I'm replacing it with an aftermarket starter button (much smaller). Also what do I do with the wires from the on/off switch that was that piece?

i take it your using a tethered kill switch, just tape those 2 wire up "not together" where they don't make contact with anything
