wheres the battery go

I just picked a nice apex and they had put a starter block off on it and i dont see a place where the battery went i asume it was a bracket under the seat?? can someone confirm this I want to put back elec start for him. thanks mike

If I'm not mistaken the apex's are missing alot more than just the battery. Your starter gears and clutch are also missing. Going to be alot more work to it.

Apex models in the last 3 years or so don't even come with a true electrical harness. They were imported for closed circuit racing and are kick start only.
Can't speak for the pre 2008 models

I have a 2005 and it came with a complete wiring harness that now hangs on the wall. Yes you can make it electric start, you need the harness starter clutch and the starter. Believe the battery gets mounted under the fender or the seat. You might have to build a battery box.
