I was wondering what you guys thought might be a good pipe/silencer combo for my 88 r. I have an esr 310 pv trx5 port
38mm airstryker carb vforce 3 reeds. Any ideas and where i can buy it from?

I have a nice LRD pipe and silencer if you decide you want one.

I have tried many pipes and have settled on the ESR TRX-5 for best all around riding feel and power. Other pipes have their own advantages (high, low, mid range) but The TRX-5 does most everything well for my applications. I run them on both my quads.

I'd agree with Jon on this, have tried several pipes with the exact same set up you've thrown out. If you want more topend, try the TRX9 with a 39pwk. If you order new from ESR, tell Tom to leave the pop riveted label off the pipe.

Ive tried the esr 9 pipe, fmf, pro circuit, bills, and duncan racing and ive found that the esr 5 pipe is the best all around pipe for what i do. i ride trails dunes and every now and then Mx. It seems to have a very strong and broad powerband and is very snappy! I run it on my 330r, 38 airstriker, v force 2's and esr 9 port job and LOVE IT!

There was a brand new TRX5 for sale in the classified section, might want to check it out. I'm not sure if it's still available, but it was a great price.

Have tried the Paul Turner High Rev and currently own the ESR TRX9 hands down the ESR9 is the best one I have used today. Also the ESR9 works so much better with the 39MM carb and only use or ride bike at Glamis.
