I just came across these yesterday. These things look sweet. Most of them use 52hp 450 engines. theres going to be 3 classes for them at every NEATV race for 2012.

if people want to race side by side's, you know whatever i can deal with that but this is just damn goofy i think. them things look like full on custom machines.

Those look sooooooo fun
trophy kart is like full race from the factory, much more competitive than a utv but no 4x4, 1 seaters , its just a track machine, and u got clutch and gears, i had looked at them prior to getting my rzr
i see jeremy mcgrath has a regular dirtbike clutch lever to work his clutch

Wills, you gonna get one?!?!?! How you been doin lately?? Haven't heard much outta ya!!!
you can get a trophy kart ( the ones in the video) full race 450 all ready to go for abotu 13-14,000 hop in and run, they have a 200cc kart thats around 6,000 , the 450 can go as high as 19k i believe depending on the options....basically the equivalent to buying a apex race quad

I want one ..... but I'd hate to pay to have one fixed when you nose dive into the face of a jump and bend the crap out of everything.

I wish i could but there way out of my price range and i would have no way to shift while using hand controls. Ive been doing great. making progress and getting alot more sci equipment for home that i use everyday. I guess im due to make another update thread soon haha

NEATV ran them last year too, but only 2 showed up every time :ermm:
They are cool to watch, and cost nowhere near 29,000, more like 12-13,000.

I believe the shifter and clutch setup is full hand control.
I'm sure the gas/throttle wouldnt really be An issues either.

its alot harder than that for me. I need to steer, control brake/throttle, clutch/shifter all with 2 hands that arent fully functioning. 45lbs of grip in my left and 12lbs in my right. my right is pretty useless. i can pick up a remote at the right angle but my fingers arent strong enough to push the buttons.

Not yet you can't! But given your progress this far, your attitude, the support of your family, friends, girlfriend, and the entire ATV community, it won't be long until you can!!:macho
