300EX brakes on 400EX spindles

Is it true 300EX calipers will bolt right on to 400EX spindles?? Do you need a new mounting bracket?

What Jeff said. I have the same setup. Check the part #'s on the calipers- there the same. I broke both spindles on my X- haven't broke the 400EX spindles, so I'd say it's a wise choose to switch them.

Yep, part #'s are the same...
