Big bore

I have a 05 450R it has a stage 2 hotcam and was ported and polished by Johnny Hale racing. Has fuel custom intake and curtis sparks exhaust and a baldwin 14:1 piston. Has plus 1 exhaust valves. It dynoed at 50HP and 36 on torque which was not bad. Thinking of doing a ice cube cylinder 498 big bore kit will this get me to the 54 to 55 but don't want to sacrifice torque. I do flat track racing. Let me know what anyone thinks. Thanks

id say that would easy get you to 55hp. a more aggresive cam could get you close also like a webcam.

yeah get a differant cam in there you should get more HP out of that setup, depending on the porting. wbcam 729 is a good one

if u FT/TT I would stay with the 450, the big bore kits may put out more hp but they rev slower, the 450 with a good head can put out the hp you want and pull faster
