Is there any place online where you can just buy individual jets? I need a #150 and #152 for the k&n upgrade I'm doing and don't feel like spending $50 for a whole kit.

thanks

Hmm, rocky mountain only has the k&n jet kits, not individual jets. At least not that I can find. Is there another place on the site where I should be looking? I just put in what type of quad I had and all that and got to the parts list.

I am currently doing the research to find this out right now. As far as I have found the Dynojets are Mikuni jets. I am not sure though. I will find out for sure tomorrow. I will post exact part numbers when I find out.

I'm not positive but i think you need an adapter that comes with the kit to use the Dynojets.
Can anyone confirm that?

www.magicracing.com sells jets.

The Dynojet kit does require the use of an adapter for your stock carb (comes in the kit) And Dennis Kirk has a pretty good stock of Mikuni & Keihin jets, so should most of your local cycle shops though.

I have quiet a few of the dyno jet jets in stock and if I don't have the ones you need I can order just the jets. I will look in the morning to see if I have the sizes you listed:D

Ok, if I'm just putting the k&n on my quad and nothing else, no pipe or anything, will I even need to mess with the needle or the pilot jet.

I've heard you can just get away with changing the main jet, from #148 to #150 or #152. Is that true?

thanks

Yeah, Colby. If you could tell me how much it would be for a #40 pillot and a #152 main jet that would be cool.

thanks

You really don't need to change the jetting but if you put in a bigger pilot the bike will start better and warm up faster. The jets are $3.50 each.

Hey COlby is that really true about warming up faster, does it pose to enigne damage down the rode.

Also I just bought a pipe and uni filter with unil prefilters. I plan on starting with 125 main jet and work from there. Also I change the groove down one to #4 and the pilot stayed ths same. It's for a 300ex.

I get sll my stuff in this weekened, just wanna make sure that is a good starting point so I don't burn anything up. Also Do I really need to change my pilot since it's only a pipe and filter??

THanks in advance+

Ok Colby. I would like to know how much it would be then for a #40 pillot and a #152 main jet with shipping inlcluded. $3.50 seems awfull cheap compared to other places.

I just went and got stock Keihin jets, but someone mentioned to not use the dynojet needle with the stock jets. What is the reason for this?

Gojk, where did you get the jets and how much did you pay for them. I'm having a hell of a time trying to find jets at a reasonable price. My local dealer wants to charge me $11 per jet.

Hi there guys,

That is a rip off from you dealer, tell him what the hell.
I get my jets for 4 bucks and I bought 3 of them and it's dialed out already.

The reason you can't use dyno jets on the khien carb, is because it takes a specail adapter to screw it in.

Just stick with Khien jets, no hassle, no specail tools, no specail adpaters. Just unsrew and srew in the new one.

Simple

i got them from a dealer in Mesa AZ for $5 a peice. Kinda steep but I guess if they work then it is worth it. Also, C&D is cheaper if you can wait. I just needed them by this weekend.

C&D has been ignoring my emails. So I bought the jets from someone else. $5 a piece.

My local Honda dealer charges $3 a piece for jets and thats the dealer. So $3.50 isn't that unimaginable.

Then outsource someone to do emails.

You've lost my business because you never responded.

sorry man...
