Out of the spindle or the A arm itself?

If its in the spinds try tapping the spindle with a hammer to losen it up. I usually will put the nut back on and tap it with a hammer.

I always ripped them w/ pickle forks. I loosen the nuts(top and bottom)suspend the quad enough so the wheel hangs and hit the spindle w/ a narrow hammer. Sometimes both go, but usually hit the top, then bottom.

Harbor freight sells an automotive tie rod tool that works perfect. the advantage is you are not prying on them like with a pickle for so you dont tear the boots. the tool only costs about $10.00. it has a set of forks on one side and another arm that comes out and pushes the bolt through. works Great!

Build your own tool for $2.00 at Home Depot.
Gotta give the credit to this youtube video for the idea / concept.

1 - 3/4" rod coppling nut
1 - 1/4" bolt

Losen the ball joint nut slightly on top and bottom, insert this tool into the gap and with 2 wrenches open it up until the ball joints pop out. Then remove the nuts and pull apart.
