What gearing are you mx guys running with 18 in. tires? Setting up a 01 for my son to run mx and I think stock gearing with 18's will be geared way to low.

When I ran 18's on my 400ex i went up a tooth on the front sprocket. Seemed to help IMO

Depends on the track setup. I kept the stock 15/38 on most of the time even with my 440 stroker. I would say try it out first and see how it does.

I like 16/39 for 18s.
