ok i put on new rear tires .they are around 1'' to. 1-1/4'' taller than the stock ones .but now my gear ratio has changed and i dont like it.i want my old stock ratio back.i dont think a 14t front is what i want because its like +3 in the rear .i was thinking about going up one tooth in the rear to a 39t. anyone???
39 tooth....That sounds about right, and should be easy to find too.
Rocky Mountain carries them or you can check our sponsor i'm sure they have something.

A 14t would be cheaper and easier to install. If the tires you have now 22", a 14t would bring it back close to stock. I say leave it like it is for more top end. Just my opinion, like *********$ everybody has one. JK!:D

ok ,i got a 39t sprocket from my local dealer and installed it.i got back my stock gear ratio,or very close.i lost top end, radar times 38t,67.1 mhp--,39t 65.9 mhp.but that is ok because i do mostly trail riding and hill climbing were faster accel is needed

Sorry this is a little off your subject. But how does a 15/39 sound for mx and some trail riding. I am running 20"s in the back. And I think my 14/38 is slowing me down, plus I the gears are shorter, so I would like to get a little more out of each gear. But in regards to your question I think the 39t should be fine.
