How to properly adjust clutch cable 400ex

Is the clutch cable supposed to have slack in it or is it supposed to be tight? how much should it move the clutch arm? i have always had mine tight.

Different strokes for diff folks.. It is fine as along as it is not slipping while it is released.. I have mine set to the point I can pull it with one finger..
