ok a diffrent question since my 450 hits the rev limeter so fast in the first three gears i know a 15 tooth up front will help and my back sproket is new so i cant replace it and i want a case saver would i benifit from a CDI ? to raise the limet like a 15 tooth would strech out the usable power?

What gearing are you running exactly right now man? The 04/05 quads with stock gearing are high geared. but no matter what dont run without a case saver. One derailed chain can ruin your riding for a long time haha. Also a CDI box will help some if your having that much trouble with the rev limiter

yeah it would hitthe limeter like 2-3 secondes after shifting in ino a gear very LOW geared its stock gears to! all it had was a full pipe no lid and filter it had crazy bottom end tho!! after i put a HC piston in it and cam i probley wont be able to ride it it would hit the lemeter so fast :) the guy that owned it befor me had a case saver on it and the chain snaped and busted the case saver mounts off but i think i can do a little fabing and make some new threads on the stubs :D it also bent the shift shaft down a good bit but it shifts fine so its all good

When are you going to do that? You probably won't need a 15T sprocket when you re-do your top end. But if it's just a temp. fix, then you could give it a whirl
