if ya dont mind me asking whats the difference between the 07/08 gas tanks??

a lot. 04-07 tanks are about 1 gallon bigger and set up on the frame higher. the 08 is smaller and has a different heat shield lowering it in the frame a little more. Plus the 08+ bikes have the plastic tank covers that don't fit the other gen 450s
