My son has a Walsh CRF with the flip top. I use a standard CRF kicker with a home made extension (two crf knuckles welded with spacer tube). My son can kick it over without flipping the top but having low profile rear fenders help.

He only flips the top when starting cold or it gives him trouble. Just starting with it warmed up, he just kicks and his boot just clears.

well i have been making shortys for 6 years now never for a crf but for the yfz and my yz hybrid. i bought all new 250r plastic and the one thing i refused to do was cut the fender so i figured out a way to shorten the kickers without cuting or welding them.

chopp- Im still looking for a crf kicker extension for a yz250 kicker. I currently have a crf kicker, but need an extension and yz250 kicker. I have a walsh crf by the way. I have been trying to reach you but your inbox is full.
