Blaster shocks work good, But you might want some aftermarket ones.

A good shock height for TT is any where from about 14in to 16in I think the Blaster shock are like 14.75 or either 15in eye to eye.

would I have to get them revalved. I called HYGEAR witch is located about 40min from me they said they can hook me up with rebuild, revalve set the ride height and do a ***** load of other stuff for my stock shock for $800.

The stock shocks on that bike will not work for TT very good. To get the correct compressed height they will most likely hit inside the body of the shock. Also, the shaft and bodies are too large on that shock and don't work well at all. The compression adjuster do not work either due to too heavy of a shim internally. Please don't run a set of shocks off of another bike, they won't be right and you will spend more money in the end getting them fixed.

PEP's or Elka's

The best bang for the buck are the HLS. Definitely not the Elka unless they are going to be completely reworked correctly! PEP's are only good if they are the PB1's, the others are not good. Custom Axis are excellent too.

Motowoz is building some custom tt shocks for our tt team for 2012, they set up and won a number of classes at the Lucas oil race last year, and Jim really knows his stuff.

Kenny Hendrick was the guy at the first round at the Kinston National Suspension Systems is the name of there business.

I have never had any work done by him personally, But a LOT of people at the track go to him, And I have heard good things about his service.
