Questions about jets.

Looking at the Jetsrus.com site, what is the difference between the Genuine Keihin Jets and the OEM Equivalent Keihin Jets?

Also what is the purpsoe of the allen head stainless steel carb bowl screws? Why are they needed vs. the stock ones?

Also, what sizes should I order for my new build in my signature?

They are the same thing, but obviously one is made by keihin and the others equivalent. I ordered a bunch from them one time and they sent me soem oem equivalents, no issues there.

The bowl screws are brass, they strip REALLY easy.

Your gonna need between 165-180. FYI the 450r jets for 05 and earlier are the same and they sell the right range kit for your setup.

thanks for the tips. So the 04-05 TRX450R jets and carb bowl screws are the same size?

also are theyre any stock replacement iridium plugs?

Buy the carb bowl kit for the EX, not sure if the 450r parts will work. But the jets for an 04-05 450r carb are the same as an ex.

As for the plugs, not worth the money.
