what do u guy use to clean your foam air filters. i heard has breaksdown the particles of the filter. is there something else you guys use that is better. Thanks

I have always used PJ1 foam filter cleaner. I know that other people on here use a variety of other things too. Maybe try a search on that topic you should get lots of hits.

Just find something that works best for you and stick with it. Most air filter manufacturerd will suggest their products for their filters but a cleaner is a cleaner in my opinion...;)

KEROSENE..works great,doesnt eat the air cleaner like gas[DON'T USE GAS]!!!

I use No Toil oil and No toil cleaner. Easy Easy Easy. Biogradable. Use it on my UNI filter

Bad idea, it will eat the glues, etc. that are used to hold the filter together. I always used soapy water...

soapy water is better then gas?
just pour the soapy water all over it and shake? or squeze ir off?

how long do u let it sit in the kerosene and do u rinse it with water after?
